Shooting Gel Coat Harbor Freight HVLP Spray Gun Cheap Spray Gun

I shot a quick video to see if it is possible to modify a standard Harbor Freight purple HVLP gun for the purposes of shooting gel coat on a boat.

Previously - I learned the hard way that if your nozzle is too small, the gel layer will be too small, or the solvent will flash off in the air - giving incomplete cure.

This is solved by using the correct size nozzle while shooting gel. I also add Duratec high gloss to my gel coat, and cap it with PVA when done shooting.
