Did you update to macOS Sonoma and now need to downgrade to Ventura, Monterey or Big Sur? on M1 or M2 Apple Silicon Mac? I'll show you the easiest and fastest way to downgrade to a previous version! In this video I will show you 3 different ways to do it! Including downgrading with a macOS Ventura USB Installer, Restoring macOS Ventura with Apple Configurator 2 with a 2nd Mac and Downgrading macOS Sonoma Beta from macOS Recovery without a USB or 2nd Mac!

UPDATE: 3/20/24 the macOS Sonoma 14.4 update is causing a bunch of problems. If you would like to downgrade you can with this guide. You can downgrade to 14.3.1 which does not have the same issues or go back to Ventura. The guide works for both.

This database will contain download links for macOS 1e full Installer pkg files (InstallAssistant.pkg). This file is the same full installer that you would download directly from the App Store for Intel and Apple Silicon M1 Mac Computers. The InstallAssistant.pkg is stored on Apple's servers and contains the full "Install macOS.app". Once downloaded, all you need to do is install the pkg and the full installer of macOS will be in your applications folder. This change was made when Apple revised the full installer for Big Sur. The InstallAssistant.pkg is not available for Catalina or Mojave.
