Olopat Eye Drops 5 ml belongs to the 'antihistamine' class of drugs, primarily used to treat signs and symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis and nasal allergy. It is used to relieve itching, burning, redness, watering in eyes caused by allergic conjunctivitis.
No, Olopat Eye Drop is not a steroid. It is a medication which is used to treat allergic conditions. Most commonly it is used to treat allergic conjunctivitis/pink eye. Do not take this medication without consulting your doctor.
Use this medicine within 4 weeks after opening it. The side effects of OLOPAT EYE DROPS subside on their own. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist for many days. Avoid driving a vehicle as it may cause blurring of your vision.
This medication is an antihistamine used to treat itching and redness in the eyes due to allergies. This medication is not recommended for the treatment of eye irritation due to wearing contact lenses.
How do you use Olopat eye drops?
Olopatadine 0.1% solution:
Adults and children 3 years of age and older—Put one drop in each affected eye two times a day, at least 6 to 8 hours apart.
Children younger than 3 years of age—Use and dose must be determined by your doctor.
