Archaeologists have revealed the discovery of 13-thousand relics at the famous Sanxingdui Ruins site in southwest China.
A report on Tuesday said the discovery of gold, bronze and jade relics was made over the past two years across six sacrificial pits at the dig site in Sichuan Province.
Amongst the thousands of artifacts, a bronze box with a green jade object inside is one of the highlights, as it's the first such item seen by archeologists.
Excavations at the site since 1986 have unearthed more than 50-thousand items, including gold ware and cultural relics.
