Hello from the neuro-oncology nurse specialist team at Kings on Glioblastoma awareness day!
We wanted to talk today about Glioblastoma tumours and help raise awareness of this rare cancer which is hugely underfunded and requires a place on the world stage when talking about cancer funding and treatments. We still don't know why people get this tumour, we have limited treatment options and the detection often takes longer than it could.
On that subject the Brain Tumour Charity launched their campaign to aide early detection of tumours: Better Safe than Tumour

The Tessa Jowell Foundation are pushing for change, for research, for funding, for treatment options and bringing together the Brain Tumour community to make that difference.
