Union Budget 2024 LIVE: PM Modi's remarks on Viksit Bharat Budget

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the Budget 2024-25 as “not merely an interim budget but an inclusive and innovative budget." The PM asserted that the budget carries the confidence of continuity. The PM further added that the budget will empower all pillars of developed India - the youth, the poor, women, and farmers. The PM congratulated Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for her vision and stated that the budget is a major foundation stone for building the future of the country and that it carries the guarantee of strengthening the foundation of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
