MATERIALS:
Canvas: 16x20 stretched primed canvas
Brushes: 1/2 inch bristle (large), #8 to #10 round (medium), #0 to #2 round (small)
Acrylic Paint: titanium white, cobalt blue, burnt umber, green oxide, chrome yellow, fire red, violet, fluorescent orange
Other: #2 pencil, palette, cup of water for washing brushes, paper towel for drying brushes

STEPS:
1. #2 pencil - Outline the land
2. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Paint the sky with blue and white
3. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Paint the land with brown, green, yellow and white
4. #8 to #10 round brush - Paint the tree trunk and branches with brown
5. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Paint first layer of leaves with yellow, orange, red, green, blue and purple
6. #8 to #10 round brush - Paint the grass under the tree with yellow, green and white
7. #0 to #2 round brush - Paint the swing with brown, white, orange and red
8. #8 to #10 round brush - Paint the bark on tree with brown, ,white, yellow and orange
9. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Finish leaves with white, yellow, orange, red, green, blue and purple
10. #8 to #10 round brush - Paint flowers with white, purple, red, orange and yellow
11. #0 to #2 round brush - Sign with brown

FUDGY CHOCOLATE COOKIES - Makes 16 COOKIES / Prep time 10 minutes / Cook time 12 minutes
INGREDIENTS
• 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1 cup white granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup melted butter
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 1 egg
• 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
• 1 1/3 cups all purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/3 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line 2 cookie sheets or baking trays with parchment paper.
2. In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the cocoa powder, white sugar, butter and vegetable oil. Beat in egg and vanilla until fully incorporated.
3. Add flour, baking powder, and salt; stir the dry ingredients first before mixing them through the wet ingredients until a dough forms (do not over beat). Fold in the chocolate chips.
4. Scoop out 1-2 tablespoonful of dough with a cookie scoop (or small ice cream scoop), and place onto prepared baking sheets. Press them down as thick or thin as you want your cookies to come out.
5. Bake in hot preheated oven for 12 minutes. The cookies will come out soft from the oven but will harden up as they cool.
6. Allow to cool on the cookie sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool.
