Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell appeared to freeze for a second time in recent weeks during a news conference in Covington, Kentucky.
The 81-year-old was taking questions from reporters when Sen. McConnell froze up and did not respond to a reporter's question about running for re-election.
"Leader McConnell felt momentarily lightheaded and paused during his press conference today," a McConnell spokesperson said. "While he feels fine, as a prudential measure, the Leader will be consulting a physician prior to his next event."
