What is High Myopia?

Myopia isn't just a vision issue, it's an eye health issue.

Higher levels of myopia (typically over -5.00 or -6.00) is linked to much higher risks of eye diseases such as retinal detachment, glaucoma and myopic macular degeneration. This is because the structures of the eye are highly stretched in a myopic eye that has grown too long in childhood.
