India's government is under fire for hosting G20 meetings in Kashmir to try and lure visitors to the disputed region. The decision to convene countries in the Himalayan territory has drawn the ire of neighbouring Pakistan and China, but India says it's trying to promote tourism.

In a rare insight to the region, the ABC's South Asia Correspondent Avani Dias was invited by the Indian Government to visit the capital, Srinagar.
