Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday laid the foundation stones for 45 highway projects worth Rs 4,000 crore.
Gadkari was received by Union Minister Som Parkash, who represents the constituency.
As Gadkari reached the venue, Sunil Jakhar, Vijay Sampla and Jangi Lal Mahajan flanked him on the stage.
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
