Fransızcada "pouvoir" fiil olarak "can,
Fransızcada "pouvoir" fiil olarak "can, able to, being able to" anlamlarına gelir. Örneğin "Je peux parler français." cümlesinde "peux" "pouvoir" fiilinin çekimi olup "I can speak French" anlamına gelir.
"pouvoir" fiilinin present, imperfect, future, conditional, subjunctive ve imperative tenses gibi tüm zamanlarda kullanılabilir. Aşağıda "pouvoir" fiilinin çekimi için örnekler verilmiştir.
