The Iao valley on the
The Iao valley on the island of Maui is a magical, cinematic place. Incredible peaks and ridges are covered in dense rainforest, with rainfall of almost 10 meters per year. I flew this with my 7 inch long range FPV drone with permission from the park rangers, even though someone came up behind me as I was cresting the top, and started arguing with me about being able to fly there. Luckily my family was there (watch until the end to see them!) to help deal with it while I had the goggles on. My daughter thought that the crest of the mountain looked like a humpback whale, so I added the whale sounds :)
Something weird happened with my footage, and the edges came out a bit blurry. No idea why, none of my other footage from the trip was like this.
