What is phonics? In this video I explain how phonics is taught explaining all the different types of sounds - phonemes, digraphs, trigraphs and split digraphs. Digraphs - 2 letters = 1 sound
Trigraphs - 3 letters = 1 sound
Split digraphs - 2 letters with one letter in between make 1 sound
