The WST is a unique checker that measures the resistance of wrist straps and, if wall mounted, heel straps, at between 750 kilohms to 35 meg ohms, meeting EN 61340-1 specifications.

How Do You Use The WST?
When testing, the operator simply connects their wrist strap to the tester via the 4mm banana plug socket. To test make finger contact with the stainless push button, and "press to test". An audible buzzer will sound if the wrist strap is not working within specification. The WST Meter can also be connected to a wall and footplate. Place the meter in the bracket on the wall plate. Connect the meter via short lead from the banana socket on the meter to the stud on the other bracket on the wall plate.
Connect the footplate with the longer lead from the stud on the footplate to the same bracket on the wall plate. This will also give you the option of checking your ESD shoes.
