So this week I decided to do something a bit different! I documented my little journey into the unknown world of drop B tuning!! I have never tried this before so this is all new to me so wanted to share the experience! It sounded pretty good considering I used a 6 string guitar not set up for it! What do you guys think?
Strings⇲
I am tuned to - B - F# - B - E - G# - C#
Using gauges .011 .015 .018plain .28 .38 .58
This is the same string gauges of Mick & Jim from Slipknot who use 6 string guitars. To get these custom strings I use the following packs of strings and take the ones I need from each pack;
