Farewell Epping - Chatswood Rail Link
Saturday 29th September 2018 is the last day double deck trains run the Epping to Chatswood Rail Link.
The Rail Link will close for approximately 7 months while it is converted to Sydney Metro.
In the first half of 2019 Sydney Metro Stage 1 will open.
These include new stations at:
Tallawong
Rouse Hill
Kellyville
Bella Vista
Norwest
Hills Showground
Then will continue along the newly converted Epping - Chatswood line.
The stations are
Epping
Macquarie University
Macquarie Park
North Ryde
Chatswood
The Sydney Metro network will be serviced by single deck driverless trains.
Alstom Metropolis Units.
