The Biblical Spring and Fall Festivals including Passover (Pesach), Unleavened Bread (Chag Hamatzot), First Fruits (Yom Bikkurim), Pentecost (Shavuot), Trumpets (Yom Teruah), Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) and Tabernacles (Sukkot). Other notable holidays include Hanukkah and Purim. What are these festivals? As Christians, can we celebrate the Jewish holidays?
In our introductory video, we dive into the meaning of the Biblical Spring holidays as we study the history of the holidays. We ask how we can see Jesus, the Messiah in the holidays. Next we ask how the holidays apply to us today. Lastly, we talk about the prophetic implications of the holidays.

Twenty Six Eight is a Boise congregation devoted to following Jesus. One way we’re unique is that we blend Christian and Jewish beliefs and practices. We refer to this distinctive mixture as Messianic. Practically, this means we meet on Saturday morning (called Sabbath) and celebrate the biblical holidays (called Appointed Times or Festivals). We love Jesus’ church, the Jewish people, and the nation of Israel. We’ve been in the Treasure Valley for twenty years and have walked as a Messianic congregation for over twelve years.
