Venti, the retired god of freedom, reflects on his decision to grant his citizens freedom and a new order, creating a 'new Mondstadt' without his old role. While at Windrise, he enjoys peace by playing his lyre and savoring some apples and dandelion wine.

Suddenly, he's startled by a voice he recognizes as that of the world or Celestia. Even though his connection to Celestia was severed when his gnosis was stolen by a witch harbinger, Celest understand the true essence of freedom. Venti, initially defiant, is swayed by the voice's persuasive melodies and ultimately agrees. After sleeping under the tree, Venti awakens to a world vastly different from what he knew.


Venti's eyes widened as he awoke to unfamiliar billboards and moving images around him. Everything was modern and bewildering, although he could understand the language being spoken. He dashed through the crowded streets, searching for a way out of this futuristic city.

Hours passed, and trouble emerged in an obscure area. Venti leaped into action, using his anemo powers to combat the threat. News of the incident spread, sparking discussions about the existence of hidden powers and who the mysterious person actually was.

Fitzgerald, intrigued by the mysterious event, used his power and resources and managed to lure Venti into his office. Venti's confusion about his whereabouts was met with Fitzgerald's explanation that he was in New York City, America. Realizing he was in a new world, Venti decided to act swiftly and pretended to be unfamiliar with his surroundings. Fitzgerald offered him a job, and Venti agreed, lacking a better plan.

Fitzgerald thought that Venti's status was an "illegal American immigrant" due to his unfamiliarity. However, he found Venti intriguing and proposed utilizing his abilities. Venti introduced himself, and they continued their conversation.

Venti took on the job of strategizing for the Guild, grateful for work that didn't require physical exertion. Despite not being the smartest of the archons, his brightness shone through in this world. This caught the attention of the Guild's actual members, leading to Fitzgerald recognizing his potential and officially introducing him into the Guild.
