How to change the air filter on a Coleman (hisun) side x side

Cover did not come off very easily but when it did I removed filter. Once the filter was removed the foam filter came off the metal frame. I soaked it in blue Dawn dish soap. Rinsed thoroughly and air dried completely. After it was dry I saturated with the same oil that I used in engine (10w40) and squeezed out any excess oil. Then I put filter on metal cylinder and reinstalled the filter. Sorry but battery died.
