Peter Cullen talks about his role of Optimus Prime in both the original cartoon, the 1986 film Transformers The Movie, and the live-action Michael Bay directed Transformers films. Peter Cullen is s a Canadian voice actor. He is well-known as the voice of Optimus Prime in the original 1980's Transformers series often referred to as Transformers Generation One or "G1" for short. Peter Cullen also spent many years performing the voice of Eeyore in The New Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh, and many of the Winnie-the-Pooh film and television specials. He would later return to the Transformers franchise as Optimus Prime in the live action films including 2018's Bumblebee, as well as the Transformers: Prime and Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015) animated series.
