Sheesh Mahal in Asansol has
Sheesh Mahal in Asansol has emerged as a major attraction. Sculptor Sushanta Roy from West Bengal's Asansol has made a replica of the famous Sheesh Mahal of Rajasthan at his residence in his home town. Mr. Roy has also made a wax museum in his home. This gigantic effort in making the Sheesh Mahal has taken 13 years and a staggering amount of one crore rupees.
Mr. Roy known as a renowned sculptor is the man behind the wax statues at Kolkata's Mother's Wax Museum. His expertise has been nationally acclaimed. Bollywood mega star Amitabh Bachchan too has a piece of Mr. Roy's creation at his residence.
