Don’t let anyone tell you that bending wood is easy. While it's true that anyone can bend a piece of wood using various methods if it doesn’t have a specific function or need to fit precise dimensions in a piece of furniture, but it’s still a challenging task. Even though it's no longer rooted in the ground, raw lumber is still a living material, and there is no perfect formula for bending it flawlessly EVERY time. I’ve built numerous pieces of furniture using bent lamination, and with each project, I learn something new. I hope this video inspires you to try it yourself and start creating beautiful curves for your furniture that you never thought possible.
