In today's video, I have explained about how to actuate a single-acting cylinder in hydraulic system using MATLAB. I used a pressure source, control valve and 2-way actuator for the actuation control of single-acting cylinder.
MATLAB provides you an easy interface through which you can develop a practical knowledge about engineering. One of such things is the simhydraulics. You can build any circuits regarding hydraulics and pneumatics such as jack, tractor, mowing machine etc using this library. It also have many PS blocks to simulate different things.
