Vidushi Nandini Bedekar has spent decades, 35 years to be precise, under the strict guidance and tutelage of her Guru Gaanasaraswati Kishori Amonkar. Kishori Tai's everlasting and limitless rendition of Raag Bhoop is well known amongst Indian Classical Music connoisseurs. Nandini tai has had the privilege of being with Kishori tai for all those years of rendering and exploration of Raag Bhoop. "Sant Payi Guru" is a Shabad. In Sikhism, a Shabad is a sacred song selected from Sikhism's scripture ​Guru Granth Sahib, everlasting Guru of the Sikhs. Set in tune by the legendary Kishori Tai, and sung and rendered by one of her most devoted disciples who continues to take forward her Guru's legacy to the future generations.
