Speak Malay Like a Local - Lesson 64 : Malay Derivatives Part I : Prefixes (Kata Terbitan Awalan)

In today's video, I talked a bit about how Malay affixes work. Just so you know, this has gone into formal Malay territory, and seeing that I don't have the necessary knowledge and familiarity with the subject matter (Malay grammar!), this is not my best video and you should definitely seek the help of a professionally trained Malay language teacher.
What I teach in this video is what I can understand to the best of my ability given the time I have on my hands. It's more of an overview and doesn't delve so much into specifics. If anything, it's more like a point I'm trying to make - grammar can scare people off from learning a language and colloquial Malay can stand alone without much help from affixes.
As it is, I'm reconsidering my decision to teach the remaining 3 parts of Malay derivatives. It's complex and does not help much in everyday conversations.
