Why do Architects love RAW Concrete?

Do you understand the beauty of concrete? I have worked with so many clients who wanted to paint and HIDE concrete surfaces, because they believe them to be "ugly". I want people to see their beauty, and this building is a perfect example. Today, we visit a building by Architect Arthur Erickson, probably one of the most influential architects in Canada. The concept for the Waterfall Building was to create simple, elegant spaces with maximum natural light, and create a sense of "community spirit" in within the complex.
