On his way to the beach, the dog steps on a thorn and is unable to take it out. The pain stricken dog then notices a crab passing by and beseeches him to help remove the thorn. However, the crab ignores the dog's plight and continues on his way. A short time later, it is the crab that finds himself in a predicament which only the dog can get him out of. Finally, the two help each other and the crab realizes that one's situation in life can easily change, one minute you are giving help and in the next, you are receiving.
