How to clean a dash mini waffle/chaffle maker

This is just my opinion on how to clean my DASH mini waffle maker and what I have found works for me.

Warning: Do not attempt to clean while hot! Let the appliance cool before you clean. Never touch the Cooking Surface or Cover while appliance is in use. Always lift and lower the Cover by the Cover Handle.

To prevent the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, do not put cord, plug, or appliance in or near water or other liquids while plugged in. The DASH Mini Waffle Maker is NOT dishwasher safe, which is why it must be cleaned manually.

Never use abrasive cleaning agents to clean your appliance as this may damage the DASH Mini Waffle Maker and its non-stick Cooking Surface. Only a soft bristled brush will be adequate. Or you can of course use the original recommended method of a damp soapy cloth.

DO NOT use the DASH Mini Waffle Maker near water or other liquids, with wet hands, or while standing on a wet surface. After you clean your waffle maker let it completely dry before using it again!
