Detailed long term review of Travelpro Maxlite 5 Softside 22 inch Expandable Light weight Carry on luggage suitcase that I personally used for more than 3 years. It is best light weight luggage and affordable.

WHAT MAKES A GOOD CARRY ON:
Airlines have reduced size and weight of cabin baggage - the hand carry luggage allowed to carry-on into the airplane. Due to weight requirements (restrictions) of airlines a best carry on luggage is definitely light weight luggage regardless of whether the travel is for the weekend or for longer duration. The outside material of the bag, the long lasting zip that securely closes the bag, and the folding handle all make up a good bag. This is probably best affordable light weight luggage line.
BUY ONLINE OR IN STORE:
Whether we buy from luggage store, department store, as an individual piece or as luggage sets, best carry on luggage is light weight, durable, and fits the luggage requirements of airlines to ensure smooth journey. Southwest carry-on requirements are generous, but American Airlines carry on requirements are different for destinations, on its' own flights vs code share flights. Travel pro luggage is one of the best luggage to use and this video goes over the reasons.
HOW TO PACK CARRY ON
A good carry on bag is built in a way (dimensions) to help back a lot of things into it. This could be in the form of many pockets, zips, straps and the shape of bag. We can pack clothes in layers and small items in the pockets inside.
ROLLER vs SPINNER WHEELS:
Spinners and Rolling in-line wheels have their own advantages / disadvantages and it comes down to individual preference. I prefer in-line roller wheels that give me better control on any surface type , more storage inside the bag, and more protection of the wheels - which is imp to me because I had many bags where roller wheels snapped off during travel! I cover these in the video.
