The RANKL/RANK/OPG system in bone

This video gives an overview of one primary mechanism for the regulation of  osteoclast activity in bone.  Here, I describe the major players and outline the steps in the RANK/RANKL/Osteoprotegerin system.  I also discuss implications of dysregulation of this system in disease states and application for treatment of osteoporosis.
