This video shows how to make soyabean kofta curry or soyabean kofta kaise banta hai.In this soyabean kofta curry recipe in hindi, firstly, koftas are made by grinding the soya bean chunks and then curry is made by adding cashewnuts and almond paste. For this aloo soyabean curry you will need the following ingredients :
INGREDIENTS :
FOR KOFTA
Soya Chunks- 100 gms
Potatoes (Boiled)- 2 nos.
Onion (Chopped)- 1 nos.
Ginger (Chopped)- 1 tbsp
Garlic (Chopped)- 1 tbsp
Green Chillies- 2 nos.
Corriander Leaves- 1 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Besan (GramFlour)(Roasted)- 1 tbsp
Rice Flour- 2 tbsp
Haldi (Turmeric) Powder- Half tsp
Daniya(Coriander) Powder- Half tsp
Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder- Half tsp
Jeera (Cumin) Powder- Half tsp
Amchur Powder- Half tsp
Oil- 2 tbsp
FOR CURRY
Bay Leaves- 2 nos.
Dalchini (Cinnamon)- 1 inch stick
Elaichi (Cardamom)- 7 to 8 nos.
Laung (Cloves)- 4 nos.
Onion (Grated)- 1 nos.
Garlic (Chopped)- 1 tbsp
Ginger(Chopped)- 1tbsp
Green Chillies- 2 nos.
Tomato (cut in cubes)- 1 nos.
Haldi (Turmeric) Powder- Half tsp
Daniya(Coriander) Powder- Half tsp
Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder- Half tsp
Jeera (Cumin) Powder- Half tsp
Garam Masala Powder- Half tsp
Curd- 1 tbsp
Char Mazag (Mixed Melon Seeds)- 1 tsp
Cashewnuts- 6 nos.
Almond- 6 nos.
Amchur Powder- Half tsp
Ghee- 1 tbsp
METHOD :
Take 100 gms soya chunks and soak them in warm water for 10 minutes with salt as per taste. Thereafter drain the water and keep the soya chunks aside.
Grind the soaked soya chunks, green chillies and 1 tbsp coriander leaves in a mixie to make a paste.
Take two boiled potatoes. Mash the boiled potatoes and mix with the soya chunk paste. Add salt as per taste. Thereafter add 1 tbsp roasted besan. Add 2 tbsp rice flour. Add one chopped onion, one tablespoon ginger, one tbsp garlic, and mix nicely.
Add half tsp haldi (turmeric), dhania(coriander), jeera(cumin), and kashmiri red chilli powder, and half a tsp amchur (dry mango) powder to it. Mix all of them nicely to make round long koftas.
Thereafter in 2 tbsp oil shallow fry the koftas and keep aside.
In the same pan add one tbsp ghee.
Add two bay leaves, dalchini (cinnamon), choti elaichi (cardamom) and four cloves(laung). Thereafter add grated onion, chopped garlic and ginger, two green chillies, one cubed tomato and fry.
Add half tsp each of haldi (urmeric), dhania (coriander), jeera(cumin), and Kashmiri red chilli powder and garam masala powder. Add salt as per taste. Fry the masala nicely for 2 minutes on low flame.
Add one tbsp curd
Add the paste made from 6 nos. cashewnuts, 6 nos. almonds and one tsp char magaz to the gravy.
Add half tsp amchur powder to the gravy. Cover and cook for five minutes.
Thereafter in a bowl arrange the koftas and pour the gravy on top, serve with rice, roti, polao or parantha.
