Derived from the popular expression TGIF, "T.G.I.S." or "Thank God It's Sabado (Saturday)" was a youth-oriented drama series that tells the story of a group of teenage friends with jiving personalities—Wacks (Bobby Andrews), Peachy (Angelu de Leon), Mickey (Michael Flores), Cris (Raven Villanueva), and Kiko (Red Sternberg)—and how they deal with various challenges in life while growing up.
Their steps were then followed by the Batch 2 Squad—Iñaki (Dingdong Dantes), Em (Anne Curtis), Bianca (Antoinette Taus), Calai (Sunshine Dizon), Ice (Polo Ravales), and Tere (Kim Delos Santos) who shared their exciting teenage adventures and kilig love stories.
