When George catches his satchel on a nail and rips a hole in it, he begins losing his letters, though he doesn’t realise it. The Koalas, on patrol, spy a trail of letters and, keen to help, deliver the letters to the appropriate people. George, however, begins to worry that there’s another postman operating in the outback, and is a little upset. He goes to the Koalas for help, but they’re out, so Mitzi and Ned organise a stakeout at the homestead to see if they can catch the mystery mailman. When the Koalas return, the mystery is solved: The Koalas had delivered the letters for George, and had also bought back a present for him: a brand new satchel! George is thrilled, and returns to being the best (and the only) postman in the outback.
