Heron's Super Fountain - How can this gravity-driven fountain sprout higher than itself?

Heron's Super Fountain is a new take on the classic Heron's Fountain ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heron%2... ), which is a hydraulic machine invented by the 1st century AD inventor, mathematician, and physicist Hero of Alexandria. A limitation of the Heron's Fountain is that the fountain height is limited by the height of the set-up. Heron's Super Fountain overcomes this limitation by cascading four container pairs in a row. Each pair adds to the water pressure proportional to the difference of the water levels. As a result, the fountain can shoot to more than double the height of the system itself.
