A collection of photographs of Plymouth Rock in Plymouth, Massachusetts, taken during the 1850s, 1860s, 1870s and 1880s. The memorial stone canopy covering Plymouth Rock was demolished in 1920 so the area could be redeveloped. Traditionally, the rock is said to be the disembarkation site of the settlers from the Mayflower in 1620.
