now the embryology of paranasal nose and paranasal sinuses here we see this is an embryo of fourth week end of the fourth week here we can see there are some parts of this embryo here the part is known as the frontal nasal process or prominence here is the maxillary process or maxillary prominence and here is the mandibular process

we can see that this is this lateral view this is the first pharyngeal arts this first pharyngeal hours in this photomicrograph we see this part is known as the first pharyngeal arts this first pharyngeal layers has two components one is the maxillary process another is the mandibular process this is the second pharyngealers in diagrammatic picture we see this is the maxillary prominence and this is the mandibular prominence of first pharyngeal arts and here is the estomodium or primitive mouth above this primitive mouth this is the frontal nasal process or permanence this frontal nozzle in this frontal nozzle prominence there is a plate like elevation here and here this uh plate like elevation is known as the placode and from here nose will be developed this is known as the nasal placard this nasal placode finally it turns into a pit in the central part of this placard there is a pit that is known as the nasal pit and finally this nasal pit turns into this type of structures here you see this is a depression in this uh najal placard this is known as the nasal pit here is the nasal pit and the surrounding the nasal peak these cells of the plaque it comes from the neural crystals and this is known as the nasal prominence nasal prominence for the descriptive purpose nasal process or nasal prominence for the descriptive purpose this nasal process is divided lateral half and the medial hub this is the nasal process and here is the maxillary process the maxillary prominence or the maxillary process same thing this will enlarge and uh tries to fuse with this medial nasal process

in between the medial and nasal lateral nozzle process there is the nasal peat which finally turns into the nasal sac and with the time being this medial this two medial nasal process ah comes very closer here you can see this is more closer than this more closer and finally these medial nasal processes fuse with each other fuse with each other

for the recapitulation you can see here here there is the stomodium this triangular part is the estomodium above the estimorium all the structures of is present here from where the nasal cavity knows and the parental sinus is developed here is the um here is the frontal process the central uh part is the frontal and this is the nasal process this is the latter medial nasal process the electro another process in between the nasal ah peat and nasal sac and this is the maxillary process which which tries to fuse with this medial nasal process up to this this is the development of the nose from this structure and finally we see that two medial nasal processes fuses to form this part of the nose this part of the nose this is the filtrum and the dorsum of the nose and the lateral process form this side of the here is the lateral nasal process they form the side of the ela and the maxillary process maxillary process fuses with the medial nasal process and the lateral nasal process turns upward so if we see here the leap leap is the central part of the leaf the fill drum it is formed from the medial nasal septum and the lateral part of the leaf is formed by the maxillary process so this is the uh development of the external nose here we can see the uh the the the material nasal process from here the some nasal cartilages this is the medial class of the lower lateral catalyst will form the lateral cross is formed by the electrolytic catalyst upon upper nasal cutter is from the lateral nasal

process

also nasal bones is formed from this lateral nasal [Music] processes so if we summary the fact that the philtrum and the medial cross of the alloy catalyst or lower lateral cartilage is found from the medial nasal [Music] medial nasal prominences and the lateral leather pressure the nasal bone upper lateral catalyst and the lateral class of the lr catalyst or lower lateral catalyst is formed from the lateral nasal prominences

uh and uh in this term if we want to see the nasal septum development of the nasal septum we have to see some parts of the development of the pellet development of the pellet here we see that in the development of the maxillary process the maxillary process here is the maxillary process here we see the maxillary process and this maxillary process fuses to form the interim auxiliary septum intermediary segment in this interim auxiliary segment the part is the um this is the and this is the um this is the upper jaw and this part of the pellet this is developed from the maxillary process
