This video is about Shadow Talk Podcast. In the podcast, Ali Kazem interviews Ziare and Nudie aka Darren Robinson. They talk about their latest movie Boxed In, and their upcoming movie projects.
Nudie said that the movie was inspired by a children's book about a boxer named Elijah Pierce. He said that they went to Atlanta to meet Elijah and started networking from there. They eventually got Elijah to star in the movie. Nudie also said that the movie was filmed in Atlanta and Mobile.
Ziare talked about his experience directing the movie. He said that he gives his actors a lot of creative control and that he often does improv with them. He also said that he is always open to taking direction from his actors.
Ali Kazem asked Ziare and Nudie about their major goals. Ziare said that he wants to create financial freedom for himself and others. Nudie said that he wants to continue making movies and to get his movies on bigger platforms.
At the end of the video, Ali Kazem and Ziare and Nudie talked about their favorite movies growing up. Ziare's favorite movies are Friday, ATL, The Matrix, and Half Baked. Nudie's favorite movies are Shas, Boyz n the Hood, and Goodfellas.
