VINTAGE ART LINKLETTER COMEDY BIT - CELEBRITY CHILDREN BABYSITTER (EVE ARDEN'S & BOB CROSBY'S KIDS)

Art Linkletter was known for his ability to get children to say funny things, and/or embarassing things. In this CBS promotional skit, Art is talking to the children of Eve Arden & Bob Crosby (Bing's less famous brother.) Art asks Stevie if his father is famous, handsome and rich (referring to Bing Crosby.) Stevie says his rehearsed comedy line - "No, my daddy is Bob Crosby." Bob had quasi resentment towards his more famous brother, and he diffused the situation by using self demeaning humor, and in this case, his son is continuing the humor.
