The DA-run Midvaal local municipality in the south of Gauteng has done it again.

After clinching its 10th successive unqualified audit opinion for the 2022/23 financial year, it was voted the overall winner at the second Gauteng Annual Municipal Audit Awards held in Johannesburg last night.
