LOOM: The loom used in this project is a 41-peg XL gauge round loom, in order to make an adult hat. It is recommended to use the the 36-peg loom for a teenager / child hat, and the 31-peg L gauge loom for a baby hat.
YARN: The yarn used here is a bulky weight yarn (size #6) called Katia Big Merino. If your thread is thinner than this (a medium weight yarn), you better use 2 strands at the same time.
