Because of how popular the
Because of how popular the baccarat rouge 540 is, it has a ton of dupes. So I decided to test out one of the dupes.

I will be comparing the original to this particular, dupe.
This particular manufacturer did not just try to copy the scent. They went as far as trying imitate the bottle. (the box and weight of the cap immediately gives it away though)
I’ll be listing the differences.
The juice:
When we tried them on paper, because of the high oil concentration in the original, it made the paper translucent.
The dupe evaporated almost immediately, I could not even get it to coat the paper. Because of it’s high alcohol Content. That is why I had to spray it twice
They don’t smell exactly alike.
There is some kind of similarity, but they don’t smell the same.
The dupe has a high alcohol content which you get a lot of once it’s touches your skin.
It smells very faint like there is barely any fragrance oil inside of it.
The dupe doesn’t stay on the skin for longer than an hour
packaging :
The original comes in a very fancy box as shown in my previous video, but the Dupe has an ordinary box. Easy right? But what about when both bottles are out of their boxes?
Bottle:
The cap of the dupe is much lighter in weight
The metal plate on the Dupe is prone to scratches and dents (trust me I just got it, so I’ve barely touched it)
The color of the dupe’s bottle is slightly lighter
The dupe has a bolder font and more images on the sticker at the bottom
The text on the dupe’s metal plate is darker red
The original’s atomizer let out a more generous quantity
