In this Microsoft Project tutorial, Richard Walters teaches you how to show progress lines for your projects. For progress lines to work, they are reliant on the percentage completion feature.

Progress lines visually represent the scheduled progress of tasks over time. They help compare planned and actual progress on the Gantt Chart. To add a progress line, go to the "Format" tab, select "Gridlines," and choose "Progress Lines." This visual aid enhances your project overview.

Assigning percentage completion to tasks indicates the progress made. You can input this directly or let Project calculate it based on actual work completed.
