How to make a ball of fresh flowers

DIY floral decoration tutorial. We are going to show you how  to make spherical ceremonial arrangement in the urn. First you have choose a plastic container or plate that can fits in the opening of the urn. Then you will need around 4 blocks of pre moisten floral sponge, sheet or sphagnum moss and chicken wire. You have to wrap 4 blocks of oasis with chicken wire and it is am important component to secure  the flowers. Secure wrapped oasis to the plastic container. Make wire pins by simply banding 18 gauge wire.  Cover oasis with pieces of sphagnum moss and secure that with wire pins. Using moss over the sponge have some essential benefits: first it covers chi wire in case if it becomes visible through and also add additional moisture to the flowers and prevent dehydration. Take a measuring tape and set up arrangement boundaries in this case diameter of the arrangement should be around 55 cm. Use carnations to set up width and hight and start building the flower ball, imitating spherical shape. Mix up carnations, mums and hydrangea equally. Make sure to keep this arrangement in the cool place and moist all the time before the event, because hydrangea is really delicate flower and might collapse in case of dehydration.

Approximately 125- 150 carnations
20 mums
10-12 hydrangea
Plastic container
Oasis, moss, chicken wire.
