Harry Potter: Magic at Play is a traveling exhibit that’s in the Seattle area until May 12th, 2024, so if you’d like to go, make sure not to miss the Hogwarts Express. It’s marketed as Seattle, but the experience is actually on the Eastside, in Bellevue. For tickets, see the Harry Potter: Magic at Play website here: https://harrypottermagicatplay.com/se...
Once inside, you’ll start where Harry starts, at Privet Drive. You’ll soon arrive at King’s Cross, where you can try your hand at getting through the barrier onto Platform 9 3/4! After the train, you can board a boat, just like Harry did on his way to Hogwarts for the first time.
Once in the castle, you can get reacquainted with the academic requirements, try to get into Gryffindor Tower, explore the Great Hall, even take a turn under the Sorting Hat.
You can explore Gilderoy Lockhart’s Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, try your hand at Charms, and check out the Potions classroom.
You can practice Quidditch, explore the Forbidden Forest, and wander through the maze from the Triwizard Tournament.
At the end of the route, you’ll find a cafe selling butterbeer and a shop selling wizarding gear.
