It's been over eight years
It's been over eight years since the release of Bloodborne on the PS4. Critically acclaimed and beloved by fans, it innovated on the Soulslike formula that we knew and loved while presenting a brand new setting and horrifying threats.
The industry has seen several Soulslikes since then. The genre, for lack of a better term, is very much alive. Despite this, Bloodborne remains stuck in the previous console generation despite demands for a remake or remaster.
Rumors have circulated about both, but nothing concrete has ever emerged. Is it time to finally let go? Will Sony never remake or remaster Bloodborne, much less update it for the PS5? Find out here.
