Flosstube #19--How I use my Elan Lapstand, Ott lights, Q-snaps and Scroll Rods

I show how I stitch in my stitchy spot, and show how I use my elan lapstand, my floor stand, my ott lights, my q-snaps, scroll rods and stretcher bars, and the different kinds of scroll rods. I forgot to show how it flips over so you can end a thread on the back!!!!!  I so meant to, sigh.  You just loosen that left knob a touch and the whole thing flips right over.  I will demonstrate it in Flosstube #21 which I will film tomorrow (April 5).

I use an Artisan Designs "Elan" lap frame and I have their floor frame as well.  I have been using them for about 15 years.    Would not part with them for the world.  He is the husband of a stitcher who designed it to her specifications.  I use it with Q-snaps and scroll rods, while I lean back with my feet up.  I use the lap frame for everything except huge projects which I do on the floor frame.  He is just a one man shop, and does not sell to retail shops anymore, but you can order from him directly at http://www.artisandesign.com.  I recently ordered a "back-up" Elan lap frame from him (in case I ever lose my luggage) and it came in 2-3 weeks.
