The Films of Maurice Pialat

A Tribute to one of the greatest French Filmmakers,  Maurice Pialat. Noted for the rigorous and unsentimental style of his films, marked by the use of long takes, which often feed from sudden peaks of dramatic intensity in character interaction. Many called him The French John Cassavetes.
