Easy installation, Handrail for 2-3 steps. Fast handrail for the elderly. Needed after watching my dad stumble and fall on my RING camera and being helpless to do anything from afar. I ordered it from eBay for just under A$100 and it came in 2 days, It comes with a cast iron hand rail with curved decoration ends, 2 poles with base plate covers and installation hardware for both timber and concrete floors. It also comes with a small spanner , Allen key and a masonry drill bit. Mine was installed on front door steps on top of concrete with a tile floor. Make sure you drill a pilot hole first and it needs to be dead centre of the holes of the pole brackets, as the thickness of the anchor bolts need to go through both the bracket and the hole before it is tightened up. I used my own ratchet spanner as it is a lot faster. The poles should be slightly larger And the weld larger as it flexes slightly, so please don’t lean on it. I had it up within an hour. Overall I like the powder coated look and does what I need it to do for my dad, it is no good for young kids , the height can also be adjusted by sawing the poles to the desired heights. The poles could be a bit stronger as I feel overtime with people leaning against it will eventually snap at the weld spots.
