Dr Andrew Michaels rescues a
Dr Andrew Michaels rescues a Bubble Boy trapped in a secure filtered air environment. Trapped by a mad scientist, Dr. Michaels finally arrives to free this young man who holds a medical secret in his blood that can save the entire human race from an alien microbe.
Severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) is very rare, genetic disorder, affecting between 50 and 100 children born in the U.S. every year. SCID is often called “bubble boy disease,” made known by the 1976 movie “The Boy in the Plastic Bubble.”
